Sweet Potatoes
I generally just cook them without any seasoning. Boiling and steaming seem to taste similar.
Seasoning
- Salt
- Butter / Olive Oil
- Cinnamon
- Paprika
- Rosemary
Recipes
Roasting/Baking
Roasting allows some browning for more diverse flavors, but reduces nutrition over steaming
Bryan Johnson Method:
- Poke a few holes in the sweet potato
- and lightly cover with extra virgin olive oil.
- Roast the sweet potato for 45–60 minutes at 400°F (~200°C).
- Bake for 50 minutes until easily breakable with fork
