Generative Design

This is a topic I was introduced to in college. There was this aersopace startup (Professor Michael Taylor's old classmate) that tried to implement it but was unsuccessful :( with constraints defined by the Navier Stokes equations.

I think I should really just start a company developing the software to create models based on constraints. I think in college I had no money or knowledge on how to start working towards this, but I am very capable now.

The issue is that over the last decade I have dwelved away from the complex mathematics that relates to this development. But the attractive part would be to learn and be able to implement these into some viable product.

There is this guy Fornjot that is recreating a coding based modelling software in RUST. However, I don't think this is the future, but super cool!

I reheard about this (summer 2026) when watching Fox Racing videos talking about generative design to create their suspension parts.
