Salmon Hatchery Issaquah

  • Open daily from 8:30am – 4:00pm
  • Self-guided tours start at the aquarium room and last about 45-90 minutes
  • Tours are $10 a person & 50 minutes and happen rain or shine on Mon & Wed
  • The best time to view adult salmon at the hatchery:
    • September and mid-November
    • First Chinook arrive in late August
    • First coho return in late September
    • In early October you are likely to see two species of salmon: Chinook (king) and coho (silver).
    • Occasionally, sockeye, pink and kokanee have appeared in Issaquah Creek.
