Requirements
- Two years of certified teaching/coordination in the CTE-related subject area
- with an authorized employer, e.g., school district or skills center
- A total of 6,000 hours of experience is required;
- 2,000 hours MUST be occupational industry experience (non-teaching).
- Roughly a year full-time
- Candidates may use up to 4,000 hours of teaching experience
- in the related Career and Technical Education Specialty program area(s).
- But all 6,000 can come from work experience (including internships)
- 2,000 hours MUST be occupational industry experience (non-teaching).
