Altra is the brand to make barefoot shoes without cushions, and here are some road runner options:

Btw, I think all the trail runners look better, but I think they have less breathable fabric due to need to make stronger for nature!

Rant

I wear barefoot shoes, where there is a wide toe box, no heel to toe drop (flat), and no arch support.

The heel to toe drop you have, the more you use your quads to move your legs and reducing this puts more pressure on your calves. In my opinion, this just allows you to walk barefeet comfortably, because it mimics the natural formfactor of human walking/running :).

I am already pretty tall @ 6'2", but Chistian is kinda annoying me saying that I'm not tall, so I might just get the barefoot shoes with a giant cushion underneath so I look taller to fuck with him. I also think that you wear down the natural cushion below your feet when you run without cushions on asphalt/cement that I do when I run in the city with Kiran.

There is an "idea" that your feet will step lighter eventually if you use less cushion shoes (like the Xero's I've been using for years), but fuck Christian right?
